KUCHING: Seorang warga Indonesia ditemui dalam keadaan tidak bernyawa di dalam bilik hotel bajet di Jalan Rock tidak jauh dari pusat perubatan pakar di sini, semalam.

Menurut sumber, mayat lelaki yang dikenal pasti sebagai Bong Cen Huan itu ditemui oleh kakitangan hotel sekitar jam 9 pagi.

Mereka seterusnya memaklumkan hal itu kepada pihak hospital dan polis pada masa yang sama.

Mayat mangsa ditemui dalam keadaan terbaring di atas katil.

Mangsa dipercayai meninggal dunia berikutan masalah kesihatan, dengan mengambil kira beberapa ubat-ubatan yang ditemui bertaburan di atas lantai bilik tersebut.

Mayatnya dibawa ke Hospital Umum Sarawak (HUS) sementara menunggu dituntut oleh keluarga atau Konsulat Indonesia.

Tanahmas <b>Hotel</b> holds a 2-day workshop - The Borneo Post Online

SIBU: A two-day workshop themed 'Super Customer Service' for 18 staff of Tanahmas Hotel here began yesterday.

The principal consultant of Futuristic Communications Management Services Sdn Bhd, Florince Christy, facilitated the workshop.

Florince is also the chief executive officer of Maxcel Institute Management, Miri. On the first day of the workshop, participants were reminded of the importance of giving customers consistent and excellent services. The workshop is to enable them to better understand the scope of their service.

"We hold regular workshops and seminars for our staff with the main objective of upping their customer service," the hotel's general manager Lang Jai Lee said. Also at the workshop were F & B manager Vincent Ko, acting human resource manager Sharon Sie and executive housekeeper Catherine Kong.
