| iPiCEX 2014 – Riverside Majestic <b>Hotel Kuching</b> | Novocraft Posted: 25 Nov 2014 07:26 PM PST The 4th International Plantation Industry Conference & Exhibition was organized by the International Institute of Plant Management and Universiti Teknologi Mara. The 2 day event was held at the heart of Borneo island and the land of Kenyalang, Kuching Sarawak. Among the participants are large players in the plantation industry such as MPOB, MRB, MCB, as well as other private planters.
The purpose of iPiCEX 2014 is to raise the issue that occurs in the plantation industry, particularly the production yield, sustainability, technology, and environmental effects. As we move forward, all these issues need to be addressed and solved as the human population is growing steeply. Plantation industry is one of the most crucial sector that needs to be improved in order to feed this ever growing population, and also to meet growing demands in energy.  |
